Grip Waxing - How to Select Wax, Apply, and Remove
Glide Waxing - How to prep base, apply, and scrape
These are hands-on clinics so bring your skis, no matter how old or abused. We will show you how to clean off the old wax, how to select grip wax for the day and how to apply it.
This clinic is for skiers who are new to cross country, or would like to put an end to frustrating waxing experiences. The clinics will start at 7:00 p.m. in the Wax Room at Mt Mac. Fee is $10 per person. Both clinics will cover grip and glide wax. The January 11 clinic will focus on grip waxing and the January 18 clinic will focus on glide waxing. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate included.

Full Moon Snowshoe Tour and Clinic
February 8 at 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The Snowshoe clinic and tour is at 7:30 p.m. on February 8. $30 includes: day pass, rental snowshoes, lesson and guided tour. Groups of two or more - $25 each. Club members - $15 each plus snowshoe rental if needed.
Snowshoing is easier to learn than skiing and is a good alternate activity for cold days or for anybody who is nervous about sliding down the hills.
Adult Learn to Ski
January 18, 25 and February 1
Another series of beginner lessons has been added to the Stride and Glide Ski School Schedule. If you are new to cross country skiing and would like three lessons to help you get started, then register for this course. Lessons will cover basic classic ski technique, how to get up and down hills safely, how to fall and get up, how to wax and advice for purchasing new equipment.
