This may be a good alternative to klister for those who ski several times in a row in similar conditions.

Base binders are useful when the snow is very abrasive.

• Toko Green base binder – most popular and very tough
• Rex Base Binder - good for racing situations – it is tough but fast

Cost: $12 plus GST

We will show you how to apply the binder, which should be ironed onto the ski base.

• Corks – synthetic and natural
  *It’s good to have two or three corks – one for cold weather grip wax, one for warmer, stickier waxes and one for binders
• Scrapers - metal scrapers, plastic scrapers, groove scrapers
• Brushes – nylon for glide wax brushing in various sizes, bronze for base prep and glide wax, horse hair for fluros
• Wax remover – basic solvent and citrus solvent in 100ml to 500ml containers
• Fiberlene for use with wax remover to clean the grip zone – much better than paper towels
• Fibertex – medium coarse scrubbing pads for base prep and cleaning
• Base Protection Tape – 2” wide to cover grip zone or glide zone when waxing
